Renewal Development successfully facilitated the relocation and repurposing of four homes to the Sts’ailes Nation in Agassiz, British Columbia.
Four Coquitlam homes built in 2016, were slated for demolition to make space for new developments. Instead of contributing to landfill waste, Renewal Development successfully facilitated the relocation and repurposing of these homes to the Sts’ailes Nation in Agassiz, British Columbia.
What We Did
SOMA generated media attention for Renewal Development by focusing on their sustainable approach to urban development and demonstrating the impact of repurposing homes on both the environment and local communities. In addition, SOMA helped build awareness of our clients profile by landing media coverage in various reputable outlets including CTV, CBC Radio, Black Press Media, and ICI Colombie-Britannique. The media coverage reached over 12 million people, significantly raising the profile of Renewal Development and increasing public awareness of the potential for repurposing homes in a sustainable and socially responsible way.
