Ocean Legacy Foundation
Bringing awareness to worldwide plastic pollution response programs.
Ocean Legacy Foundation works hard to combat ocean plastic pollution and they have developed a world leading plastic pollution response program called EPIC. Their dynamic and integrative approach to ocean plastics recovery and transformation combines four components: Education, Policy, Infrastructure and Cleanup.
Over the years, we have helped Ocean Legacy Foundation position themselves as an internationally recognized leader in plastic pollution response and have increased their share of voice in conversations around ocean plastic pollution and plastic waste. To date, Ocean Legacy Foundation has diverted 1,598,453 lbs of plastic from landfills and collected 2,463,858 lbs from cleanups.
What We Do
As a long-term client, we’ve helped Ocean Legacy Foundation promote a number of initiatives, including the first commercially available plastic pellet in North America, their world-leading plastic pollution response program, the opening of new ocean plastic recycling depots, international shoreline cleanups, and their work in Antarctica, trawling the sea for microplastics.
